my life is a treadmill
or a stationary bicycle
i keep going but never getting anywhere

i watch the scenery pass by
but it's all just an illusion
a movie on a screen

time standing still
time moving on
but yet everything stays the same

i follow the road
but it's going in a circle
i've seen these sights before
